THE NEWS REVIEW - February 2008 - CRUFTS EDITION

THE SOUTHERN POINTER CLUB'S NEWS REVIEW - it's the magazine with world-wide circulation written from the Members for the Members and we need YOUR SUPPORT. We are hoping to make 2008 another memorable year for the SPC. Your support and assistance will be gratefully received. Suitable articles for the News Review would be super. As Editor of the 'Review' and Secretary of this Club please allow me, through the 'Review' and with your support, to continue to promote the good image of the SPC internationally. This depends on you as it can only be achieved with your help.

We include all sorts of things - Field Trial Section, Show Successes through the country during the previous 6 months [WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE AN AREA REPRESENTATIVE] - If so, contact me on 01837 82269]. There are Advertisements, People's News, Views, Chit Chat, Comments, Veterinary Articles, Helpful Advice, Cartoons, Junior Corner, Puzzles, Poems, Short Stories, Drawings and Goodness Knows What Else!! - it depends on appropriate copy submitted for publication.

I am delighted to receive copy at any time so that the 'Review' is as enjoyable as possible for the reader and covers a wide variety of topics. We have Members all over the world so it is circulated internationally and includes International News too. We aim to keep in touch with our Members wherever they are and also to cover ALL THE MAIN EVENTS OF THE SEASON. Help me to keep in touch so that all our Members know what's going on.

You may ask "WHY AN ADVERT WOULD PROVE BENEFICIAL?" - You would get international recognition as the 'Review' is distributed the world over to POINTER PEOPLE who are interested primarily in THE POINTER and therefore in your Kennel and Stock. It is also cheap advertising, so why pay more?

WHAT KIND OF ADVERTS DO YOU PRINT? - Kennel Ads, Pups for Sale, Dogs at Stud, Holiday Accommodation, Services, Boarding, etc. FOR CLEAR REPRODUCTION photos (which may be colour or black/white) should be SCREEN PRINTED* at an extra cost of £5.00 per photo (see all photos in last issue). In your own interests photos submitted should be of good quality. Photos must be given the correct credits - the copyright of professional photographers must not be infringed - check photos and wording before sending - specific copy instructions must be enclosed. PLEASE NOTE the News Review is A BLACK and WHITE PRODUCTION.
